Takumi Sasaki Extends Contract with Negeri Sembilan FC Until 2026

Negeri Sembilan FC has secured the services of Takumi Sasaki, 26, for another year, extending his contract until April 30, 2026. The attacking midfielder, who joined The Jangs in April last year, is set to embark on his second season with the club.

NSFC CEO Faliq Firdaus expressed his enthusiasm about the extension, stating:
”Takumi has set the standard for our players since his arrival. His unwavering dedication, work ethic, and passion for the team are truly commendable. We’re thrilled to continue pursuing our ambitions with him next season.”

Takumi added: “I am happy to be able to extend my contract with such a great club. I would like to thank the team and the CEO for trusting in me. A year has passed since I came to Malaysia, the support has been amazing, and I have come to love this country and this state. I will do my best to give dreams and hope to the people of this state through football.”

Sasaki arrived in Paroi from Ehime FC and has been a key presence both on and off the pitch. Prior to his move, he clinched the J3 League title and was previously part of Japan’s youth national team setup.
